Update on Life!

So just a couple of weeks ago I got back from my trip to Israel! It was absolutely amazing. I have never experienced a trip like it. First of all, the land of Israel is breathtaking! There were so many beautiful lookout points that i wish we could have spent hours upon hours at each spot. Possibly my favorite view was on Mt. Arbel. From this mountain you could see the whole Sea of Galilee and our guide pointed out the specific points on the lake in which Jesus performed his ministry and miracles. I also got a little crazy on this mountain and probably came two feet from death a couple times. In our travels we basically covered the whole land of Israel or as the Bible would put it we stretched across the land from "Dan to Beersheba". To talk about everything would be extremely long so i'm just going to highlight a few spots. The Dead Sea was a lot of fun! You can see pictures of it on facebook but the experience of floating and not being able to sink was quite enjoyable even though I got some salt in my eye and it killed! Possibly the most beautiful spot was En Gedi where Saul went to relieve himself (aka take a dump) and David cut off a piece of his robe. The hike up to the waterfalls was probably accompanied by thousands of pictures by all the members on the tour, it was incredible! I'm going to stop there but in short other places we got to go were Masada, Avdat, Arad, Jerusalem (I could write a lot about Jerusalem), Capernaum, Chorazin, Judean Wilderness, Jericho, Bethlehem, Wilderness of Zin, Mt. of Beattitudes and much more... I can't wait to see some of you guys and tell you all about it! If you want to see some pictures go to facebook and check them out!

Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing

The fact that i sat in the library doing homework all night on Valentine's Day could imply two things: 1) I'm a terrible boyfriend for not doing anything with my girlfriend for V-day 2) I am no longer dating. The second implication would be the correct one. After a two months of my first dating experience ever, it is over. Reasons for breaking up can become very confusing and superfulous so i will leave those undisclosed. However, i did want everyone to know that my relationship status is once again "unclaimed bachelor" (and i'm guessing it is going to stay that way for quite some time)! Aside from that, life has been amazing! My classes are amazing (at the top of the list i would have to place "Systematic Theology I" and "Hermeneutics") and God is really shifting things around in my life! Oh, I'm going to have the most amazing spring break ever because I'M GOING TO ISRAEL! Oh yeah! it's going to pretty much be amazing...in fact, I can't wait! Only 24 days left until departure! Anyway, i'm going to bed but i had to at least type up something so that all my friends who i will leave unnamed (AMY FRANKLIN!!!) will get off my back about not updating :) Hope everyone had a great V-day!
